Real Madrid Thrash Barcelona in El Clasico

Barca's Resurgence Under Xavi Continues

Aubameyang and Araújo Lead the Way

FC Barcelona secured a stunning 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, continuing their recent resurgence under manager Xavi Hernández. The victory marked Barcelona's first win at the Bernabéu in nearly six years and demonstrated the progress made by the Catalan club in recent months.

Barcelona took the lead in the 29th minute through Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who pounced on a loose ball in the Real Madrid defense. Uruguayan defender Ronald Araújo doubled the advantage just after halftime, heading home a corner kick from Ousmane Dembélé.

Aubameyang added his second goal of the match in the 53rd minute, finishing off a brilliant team move involving Dembélé and Gavi. Ferran Torres completed the scoring for Barcelona in the final minutes, tapping home a pass from Jordi Alba.

The victory extended Barcelona's unbeaten streak to 15 matches in all competitions and moved them into second place in La Liga, 12 points behind Real Madrid. It also marked the first time Barcelona had scored four goals at the Bernabéu since 2015.

For Real Madrid, the defeat was a major setback in their pursuit of a domestic double. The Spanish giants remain in control of the La Liga title race, but their chances of lifting the Copa del Rey have now evaporated.
