In a thrilling Champions League semi-final clash, Real Madrid emerged victorious over Manchester City by a scoreline of 3-2. The match was a closely contested affair throughout, with both teams showcasing their attacking prowess and defensive resilience.

The first half saw both sides create chances but fail to find the net. Real Madrid's Karim Benzema came close on several occasions, while City's Riyad Mahrez also had a few promising opportunities. The deadlock was finally broken in the 55th minute when Phil Foden gave City the lead with a superb strike from outside the area.

Real Madrid responded quickly, with Vinicius Jr. equalizing just five minutes later. The Brazilian winger latched onto a through ball from Toni Kroos and fired past Ederson from a tight angle. The match continued to be played at a high tempo, and both teams had chances to take the lead before Edin Dzeko headed City back in front with just five minutes remaining.

However, Real Madrid displayed their renowned never-say-die attitude and managed to secure a dramatic victory in the dying minutes. Rodrygo equalized in the 90th minute with a powerful header, before Benzema scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute with a clinical finish from inside the area.

This victory gives Real Madrid a 3-2 advantage heading into the second leg next week. The Spanish giants will be looking to secure their place in the final, while Manchester City will need to overturn a one-goal deficit if they want to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
