Clippers break ground on new arena in Inglewood

18 billion privately funded Intuit Dome to open in 2024

To feature team practice facility, retail space, and more

The Los Angeles Clippers have broken ground on their new arena in Inglewood, California. The 18 billion privately funded Intuit Dome is scheduled to open in 2024 and will feature a team practice facility, retail space, and more.

The arena will be located just south of the campus where the Rams' SoFi Stadium is located. It will have a capacity of 18,000 people and will feature a two-sided oval-shaped scoreboard with 44,000 square feet of LED lights.

The Clippers' new arena is expected to be a major economic driver for Inglewood. It is projected to create 7,000 jobs and generate $250 million in annual economic impact.

The Clippers are currently playing their home games at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. They will move into the Intuit Dome once it is completed.
